Although before my time, I love the silent film "The Red Balloon" ("Le Ballon Rouge", 1956)
It's a charming short about a boy and his lively balloon. If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend it (if you have Netflix, you can watch it online instantly).
I was happy to find out that there was somewhat of a feature film remake ("Le Voyage Du Ballon Rouge"), starring Juliette Binoche. I found it in my mailbox today! What joy!
I can't wait to watch it tonight! And yes, Brenden, you get to watch it too!
